NKHASI SATISFIED WITH VICTORY DESPITE 5 NATIONAL CALL-UPS

Berea Ladies head coach, Lehloenya Nkhasi, commended her team for their 5:0 triumph over Thaba Tseka Ladies in the Lesotho Women’s Super League on Sunday at Bambatha Stadium. The victory was particularly impressive as the team played without five players, who are currently with the national under-20 squad.

In his post-match remarks, Nkhasi expressed satisfaction with the result:
“I played against Thaba Tseka Ladies. It was a good game. We needed to play even though we had five players with the national team, but I wanted to give others the opportunity to play, and they took their chances. Today, we needed a win because we hadn’t won yet. This win gives us motivation going forward. I am happy for the win, even though the performance was not that good, but we take it.”

Discussing the substitutions, Nkhasi explained:
“Our first substitution was forced because our right back got injured, so I replaced her early to protect her. The substitute played well and delivered what we needed. Other changes were made to refresh the midfield, which was getting tired. Thaba Tseka’s defense was tough to break, but we kept pushing.”

Despite the absence of his players, Nkhasi’s team showed hunger marking their first win of the season and boosting their confidence for the upcoming games.
