BANTU COACH REMAINS HOPEFUL DESPITE WINLESS START

Bantu Ladies FC head coach, Tefo Pheta, has shared his thoughts after his team suffered a 4-1 loss to FC Stoko in a Lesotho Women Super League match on Sunday at Agric in Maseru.

Speaking about the game, Pheta admitted he was unhappy with the loss but explained that the team is still trying to recover from a poor preseason.

“I am not okay that I lost, but what I can say is that we had a bad preseason. We are now trying to build a team, and we hope we will play well from January,” he said.

When asked about how the team plans to stop losing matches, Pheta revealed that they are looking to bring in new players to strengthen the squad.

“Let’s hope that the team will be okay. We will try to reinforce the team with new players in January, and maybe we will perform better after that,” he added.

Despite the team’s poor start, with no wins in their six games and sitting at the bottom of the league with zero points, Pheta remains hopeful. He said their goal is to finish in the top four by the end of the season.
