..AS PLAYERS MISS TRAINING FOR FIELD WORK.
MASERU- Thaba Tseka Ladies FC lost 2-0 to Bokamoso Ladies in a Women’s Super League match held at Agric grounds in Maseru on Sunday.
The team’s head coach, Liteboho Khau, expressed his frustration after the match, pointing out that his players are not attending regular training sessions.
“My players are not training; they spend all day in the fields. It’s even worse now that schools are closed,” said the coach.
Coach Khau also explained why he had only one substitute on the bench. “Four players are not here because they were told to go to the fields. When schools are closed, it becomes a bigger problem because some of them live far from town.”
When asked how he plans to solve this issue, Coach Khau admitted he has no clear solution. “I don’t know what I am going to do, but I will keep honoring the games, hoping that things will improve in the second leg when schools reopen.”
The coach remains worried about the upcoming fixtures. “I don’t know how I am going to play the remaining games, but as a team, we will try to show up even though it is difficult,” he said.
Thaba Tseka Ladies FC face tough challenges ahead as they struggle to balance their players’ responsibilities off the pitch and their commitment to the league.
