
MASERU- Two goals in the first half and another one in the second half were enough for Lioli to finally down Lijabatho.
The assistant coach of Mahala, as Lijabatho is commonly called, Mohale Mokoena said that the lossbtbey suffered at the hands of the defending champions is very disappointing.
“We made elementary mistakes,” Mokoena said after the match.
“We conceded balls that we could have done better on. Really, we are very disappointed with the results,” he said.
Lijabatho had enjoyed a run of good results after axing Teele Nts’onyane as their head ciach.
However, Mokoena believes that they could have done better today.
“All we have to do is to go back, and play again. Otherwise, Lioli ..they deserved it, and well done to them,” Mokoena concluded.
On the other hand, the head coach of the reigning champions, Motheo Mohapi said they plan of successfully defending the championship.
“It is great that we continue winning, because the plan is to defend the league title,” Mohapi said.
He also that he has started implementation of phase two of the program his program. This he said refering to fielding numerous young players, and one even scored the third goal.
