LIJABATHO UNDERMINED BOKAMOSO – SEBILO RECKONS

MASERU- Despite coming out as 2-1 victors over Bokamoso C. Ladies, Lijabatho Ladies assistant coach was adamant that they could have done better.

Sekake Sebilo believes that had they not undermined their opponent, they could have played better and scored more goals.

“Our players came into game with an attitude, undermining Bokamoso,” Sebilo said after their victory.

“Their mentality was negative, and they dropped their game to the level of Bokamoso,” he continued.

Lijabatho took an early lead and went to the break with a 1-0 lead. Three minutes into the second half, they doubled their lead.

Bokamoso pulled one back just moments before the 70th minute from a well taken free kick, and that is when Lijabatho started to panic, making several unnecessary mistakes. But their efforts were not enough to score any more goals to secure at least a draw.

Sebilo disclosed that when the league started, they had initially aimed for the championship. However, their rocky start has them now aiming for at least a top three finish.

He stated that this Christmas break will serve as a much needed opportunity to get thir house in order.

After yesterday’s win, Lijabatho is sitting fourth on the log with 11 points after 6 games.
