MZAMANE FC COACH RULES OUT NEW SIGNINGS THIS WINDOW PERIOD

MASERU- Mzamane FC head coach Liteboho Ramantsoe has revealed that his team will not be signing new players during this transfer window due to financial and logistical challenges.

Speaking after their 5-1 loss to LCS FC in a Premier League match at Ratjomose, Ramantsoe expressed concerns about the team’s struggles both on and off the field.

“The way I see it, we are not going to sign any players because we are affected by many things, including financial struggles. Also, we are very far from other teams, so if a player is available, nearby teams usually sign him first,” he explained.

When asked if he plans to replace key player Mokhethi Raputsoe, who recently joined Lioli FC, Ramantsoe admitted that it would be a challenge.

“It is going to be difficult to sign players unless someone from the lowlands connects us with a good option. Without that, it will be very difficult to get new players.”

Despite ruling out new signings, the coach hinted at making changes to the squad by releasing players who are not performing well.

“We have to release some players who are not fighting for the badge. I would rather have a shortage of players. If possible, I would have added two to three players to boost the squad,” he said.

Mzamane FC has had a tough season so far, playing 14 games with only one win, no draws, and 13 losses. They currently sit in 15th place on the log.

Their final game of the season will be a home match against Majantja FC on Sunday at Butha-Buthe. The coach and his team will be hoping to end the season on a positive note despite the challenges they face.
