Kick4Life Ladies secured a 2-1 victory against Mphaki High School Ladies, but assistant coach Teboho “Killer” Takisi says there are still areas for improvement.
Speaking after the match, Coach Takisi admitted things did not go as planned. “Maybe we are still excited about the win against LDF Ladies FC,” he said, referring to their impressive victory in the previous match.
When asked how the team approached the game, he explained, “We approached this game like any other, but my players decided to change their positions on the pitch. Maybe this was caused by the confidence they have.”
However, Coach Takisi has a concern. He feels the team is not scoring enough goals, even though they play good football.
“We have good players who pass the ball a lot, but they are not scoring. My two strikers are at Under-17 and they are the only ones who enjoy scoring goals. The players available now just like playing the ball,” he said.
The coach’s comments show he is happy with the team’s overall performance but wants them to focus on converting their chances into goals.
