“THREE POINTS IS THREE PINTS, NO MATTER HOW YOU WIN” COACH KILLER REFLECTS ON A TOUGH MATCH

MASERU- In a competitive Women Super League encounter on Sunday, Coach Teboho Takisi, famously known as Coach Killer, expressed his satisfaction after his team managed a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Bokamoso Ladies at Mejametalana Airwing.

Speaking after the game, Coach Killer admitted that it was not an easy match, acknowledging the relentless effort of the Bokamoso Ladies players.

“This was not an easy game at all. Bokamoso Ladies players were really fighting for these three points, but we managed to contain them and score more goals,” he said.

The coach revealed the tactical changes he made to stay ahead in the game.

“I brought in three young players after halftime to match the speed of Bokamoso Ladies. That change helped us score two quick goals.”

However, after Bokamoso Ladies equalized to make it 2-2, Coach Killer had to use all his remaining substitutions.

“I entered two more young players, but that was my last chance for changes. From then on, it was a battle of fitness. Their players are young and very hungry for goals, so we had to compete with that,” he added.

Despite the victory, Coach Killer was critical of his team’s performance, particularly their overconfidence and missed opportunities.

“Overconfidence is killing our players. We could have scored five goals before halftime, but they failrd to follow up on chances. We need to work on shooting, anticipation, and follow-ups during training,” he emphasized.

He also highlighted defensive errors that led to conceding two goals.

“We gave away goals because of poor communication. Our defenders marked too tightly, and instead of guiding opponents to the wings, they allowed them to penetrate between the left and right backs and the central defense. This is something we need to fix.”

Coach Killer acknowledged the competitiveness of the league, noting that every match is a challenge.

“No matter how you win,
