MASERU- LMPS FC’s defensive partnership of Makhetha Makhetha and Reitumetse Maqalika also stood out this past Saturday when they downed Matlama by 3-2.
In a post match interview, Maqalika who started the match as a captain in the absence of Basia Makepe, sang his teammate Makhetha praises.
The two made up the central defence of Simunye. Makhetha started the gane ahead of the Makepe and Lerotholi.
However, Maqalika said that they did wonderfully well, regardless.
“I want to congratulate him (Makhetha) for the good game he had,” Maqalika said.
“In this team, we are very big on support. Support will take one out of their comfortzone and that helps one grow in football as long as they have the support they need,” he said.
He also said that going into the next games, the team will take one game at the time and see where it takes them.
