A POINT AGAINST LMPS BOOSTS MACHOKHA

MASERU- Machokha FC played out to a goalless draw with LMPS FC on Saturday.

Though, it was not maximum points they collected, the head Ts’epo Mokhele his team has finally found the rhythm.

“We came to this game prepared because what happened (that LMPS relies on fullbacks) is what we anticipated,” he said.

“We managed to contain their fullbacks, that is why they couldn’t hurt us. We managed to keep them in their own half,” Mokhele continued.

He was especially impressed with the strides the team has made so far this season, as compared to the previous ones.

“By this time last season (after six games) we had no points; no win, maybe one draw,” he said, explaining that this season things are looking up for them.

Mokhele also disclosed that the team they have assembled this season has far better understanding, though there’s always a room for improvement.

He concluded by stating that they have to work twice as hard to convert the chances they create.
