Speaking after Lioli FC and LCS FC match, Coach Mohapi said he had a program to help Lioli FC grow. His plans included bringing in young players and changing the team’s playing style to carpet football. However, he feels the fans no longer want him at the club. Manonyane has had a stellar start to this season, managing to provide a couple of upsets in the process. The head coach of Matlaka, as Manonyane is commonly known, said that their run of good performances and results have made them a target, and are now approached as big fries. Prior to the LDF game, their defeat to Matlama (2-0) was their biggest loss. “We did not do what we agreed upon,” the head coach Teboho Kokome said after losing 3-0. “We are okay, compared to where we expected to be,” Kokome said.
